About Me

My name is Chelsea. I’m a TRU CMNS student, entrepreneur, and ghost-writer for thought leaders, coaches, and consultants. As a creative, what I find most fascinating about my work is the exploration and discovery stage.

Often, my clients are established business owners who have created, shared, and marketed their own content for many years. Their first introduction to me is often their first introduction to ghost writing in general. I describe our work together as the two of us sitting inside their head while I take notes to organize later on.

As a hands-on/visual learner, I like to piece together elements of my clients style, personality, and business persona to create and decorate the “office space we sit in” during our interview. I visualize what the room inside their head would smell like, the textures of the furniture or blankets, the art work, the colours, the view from the window, and where I would sit in relation to them – across a small bistro table in an arm chair next to the sofa, etc. I map out where they may keep their knowledge – on bookshelves, in filing cabinets, sprawled across a desk, or as a hundred little document icons on a clunky old PC.

As they share more about themselves, their work, and what drives their passion and inspiration, the space becomes more detailed and personalized. This process helps me retain the information I learn and determine what details are most important. Ghost writing is a skill that is strengthened by connection and one which brings me great joy to put into practice.
